Message from the Principals
At ETHS we value choice, flexibility, and meeting the needs of learners and families. Families are able to choose what meets their needs including all virtual, in-person, and any combination of the two educational methods. We hope that providing flexibility during these uncertain times assists and supports families.
As we embark on this new year together, we look forward to working together to make it a great year! Thanks for choosing ETHS and please let us know if we can assist you.
Sincerely,
Mr. Kent Kleinowksi and Mrs. Stacey Kuehn

Attendance
Student Absences
- Parents should call the attendance office before 8:00 am. If leaving a message, please include your name, your child's name, and the reason for the absence.
- If a student attends virtually or in-person they will be marked present.
- East High School uses the school notification system School Messenger for attendance calls. The families of students whose absences have not been verified by 8:30a.m. with a parent/guardian will receive an automated phone call placed to primary phone and parent/guardian cell phone numbers listed in Skylert.
- Reminder if going to the doctor or dentist bring in excuse from the doctor or dentist to the main office so that the absence can be recorded as medical.
- Pre-Arranged: A pre-arranged absence form must be completed and submitted to the office at least one day prior to the proposed absence. The form is available on the District website and in the HS office. If you have completed the pre-arranged absence process, you do not need to call the office the day of your child's absence.
- Student Late Arrivals: If your child will be arriving late, call the attendance office and note the approximate time your child will be arriving.
