An Inconvenient Alphabet, written by Beth Anderson and Elizabeth Baddeley. This book helps struggling readers make some sense of how our words have such unusual spelling patterns.
Inspire Your Power
Inspire Your Power, written by Karlayna Platt, is an inspirational journal created for children with dyslexia. Karlayna, a Westlake Academy student, shares her challenges and frustrations with dyslexia as she discovers her gifts and talents. She hopes this journal empowers others.
Banish Boring Words
Banish Boring Words, written by Leilen Shelton, is a collection of 40+ word lists packed with synonym choices for the most commonly overused words, such as good and said. This is a great writing and spelling tool for your students.
