1. Adding a 4-foot fence along the perimeter.
2. Adding 2 adult restrooms out in the new wing area.
3. Enlarging the office and adding a student entrance inside the gated area so students do not have to walk to the front of the office anymore.
4. Securing the staff parking lot to make sure we control who is on campus.
Below are the drawing for these changes with proposed dates for work. The board plans to take action on this and approve it in April. Then, we wait for State approvals.

Community Soil Foundation educates MWUSD students and engages with families
Have you visited the Larkfield Community Garden & Learning Center? It's where Mark West Elementary students receive weekly lessons in nutrition, gardening, and natural sciences. But this six acres of public park is open every day to all residents and Riebli families are encouraged to come by and enjoy the space. Community Soil Foundation is the organization that has been tending the land, educating youth, and cultivating healthy food in partnership with the school district since 2015. The third Saturday of each month from 10am-2pm (April 20, May 18, etc.), parents and children attend Volunteer Days to learn and play together plus harvest veggies to bring home. Other upcoming activities include free trees for property owners in burned areas, garden visits at the Mark West Science Fair on April 27, and our annual Garden Benefit on August 17. Mark your calendars and we hope to see you soon... our grassroots, community-driven approach relies on your participation!
