A note from the Principal...
A note from Nurse Darlene...
- Keep your child at home if temperature exceeds 99.9 degrees
- If student complains of stomach disorders such as nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, do not send to school
- If a student has a rash of unknown origin or has a suspected condition (Chicken Pox), do not send to school until physician gives written clearance to return to school
- If a student is sent home from school with fever, rash, diarrhea, or vomiting or any other symptom that is suspected to be contagious, he/she should not return to school the next day. A child should be free from fever or vomiting for 24 hours before returning to school without fever reducing medication or medication that treats vomiting or nausea.
The following are some of the conditions which may be cause for students to be excluded from school for the remainder of the school day or longer:
- Fever of 100 degrees or higher
- Vomiting and/or diarrhea
- Symptoms of contagious conjunctivitis
- Symptoms of contagious skin diseases such as impetigo or scabies
- Serious injuries (deemed by school nurse, principal, or teacher)
- Presence of head lice or nits
- Symptoms that the school nurse, principal or teacher deem possible health risk to the student and/or other students in school
Valentine's Day Deliveries
REMINDERS FROM THE OFFICE:
Valentine's day is quickly approaching!
We want to show love to all our students. Please remember the district policy for deliveries.
*Balloons will not be accepted for delivery.
*Glass will not be allowed on the bus.
For Eastside drop off/deliveries:
*Items will be delivered to classrooms at 2:45.
*It will be helpful to have the student name AND teacher clearly labeled

Additional Lunch Information
Students will pay for meals at the district’s published standard rate each day. A student will be allowed to charge a maximum of $10.00. Once a student reaches this limit, he/she will not be allowed to charge a meal. The district will provide an alternate meal daily to K-6 students who have a negative balance of $10.00. Sample lunch alternate: sandwich, veggie sticks, fruit and milk. Sample breakfast alternate: cereal, toast, fruit and milk.
