Creating Solutions to Problems
Tell Me Something Good!
Spread kindness by shouting out all the good things going on at Paloma Creek. Help us tell our story by entering your shout out by clicking on the link below:
We will shout it out on morning announcements to share with our entire community all of the wonderful learning opportunities you see your peers doing. Have you seen a colleague doing something that you stopped and thought; "Wow! That was a cool way to introduce that concept, teach that lesson, solve that problem, or transition smoothly?" Make someone happy by naming and noticing what they're doing.
T-TESS Tidbits
Kim and I have enjoyed being in your classrooms first semester and providing feedback regarding your T-TESS goal and all of the engaging work you and your students are doiing to master their learning targets. Kim focused on Pre-K-2nd grade classrooms as I focused on 3rd-5th, special areas and special programs. This semester we are flipping focuses and will get to spend more time in the classrooms that we haven't been in as regularly.
The Braswell Zone has created T-TESS walk through forms in Google for each domain. We will now focus on Domain 2- Instruction and how students know where they are in relationship to the learning targets posted in the room. How are they using the criteria our vertical PLCs have created for our 2 focus areas in ELA and Math?
We are also gathering data as a zone specifically about learning targets. This walk through data is feedback for you and is not part of your T-TESS as it is non-evaluative. You should receive a PDF of both walk through forms via email once we submit it to you.
We look forward to being in classrooms as often as we can and collecting evidence of all the great things you are doing to make learning fun, engaging, relevant, and attainable.
