Principal's Message

Beachmont Families,

November has been a busy month! The 1st trimester ended on November 23rd and report cards will be emailed home on December 3rd. We had our second Four Bees Celebration on November 10th. This was called "Mega Picnic" and students all had the opportunity to enjoy a snack with some friends, paint a rock for a future Beachmont Rock Garden, and get some energy out by participating in games such as soccer and rock, paper, scissor. We are already planning our December Celebration and hope that all of our bees will continue to be RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, SAFE, AND KIND.

On October 28th, the community came together for an awesome event, "Trunk or Treat." Special thanks to our PTO and outgoing PTO President, Melissa Embree! This event was a huge success. On October 29th, we continued to hold our annual Vocabulary Parade. A great time was had by all. This was the first time that we brought our entire school community together(on the basketball court outside) in quite some time. Thank you for all that participated!

On November 2nd, all RPS Staff participated in a day of professional development through an organization called 5DP(5 District Partnership). The theme of the day was "Equity for All." Educators from Revere, Winthrop, Everett, Chelsea, and Malden came together virtually and participated in a variety of PD offerings. There were two excellent keynote speakers(Dr. Tyrone Howard and Dr. Adolph Brown) who challenged educators to reflect and refine their practices to ensure we are creating equitable learning experiences for all students. We look forward to continuing this work moving forward.

Heading into December, "the hive" is in full swing. Please read through our monthly newsletter and reach out with any questions or concerns.

It's a great day to be a bee!

Parent Teacher Conferences

This year, Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held virtually. In an effort to accommodate all families, this will take place between December 6th- December 17th. This is a perfect opportunity to discuss your child's report card and to hear about the progress thus far.

Teachers will be reaching out to families with how to sign up for individual conferences in the coming week. December 14th will still be a half-day for students and many conferences could take place on this day. Please connect with your child's teacher if you have questions regarding how to sign up for a timeslot.
