FMS 7th Grade Newsletter: Week of January 19- January 22

We had our first full week after break. Students are still getting used to the routine of things. We did a pre-test on theme and affixes this past week to see where our students are at. These are our new standards that we will be working on. If you have any questions, please contact your ELA teacher and/or join Remind. Also, all assignments can be found in Google Classroom.

Week at a Glance:
This week, students will review how to write and solve one step and two-step equations in Unit 6: Expressions, Equations, and Inequalities. Important vocabulary words and sample problems are available in the Family Newsletter from Open Up Resources.
Students should be using Edmentum ExactPath for 15 minutes per day in math. Please check out this resource for more about Edmentum.
Students who do not have a 3 for one of the units can continue using the Retake Agenda to practice their skills.

We were so excited to see the kids again! This last week we spent some time building relationships, reflecting on 2020 and talking about current events.
