The last supper by Leonardo Da Vinci
The painting was started in 1495 and finished in 1498. The piece is located in the convent of Santa Maria delle Graziein Milan, Italy. It is so significant because the people depicted look and act real with many emotions. Many artistic techniques were used to make this painting.
I find this painting very interesting because of how much detail there is to it, including the facial expressions and all the food on the table, a lot of work went into this piece for the time it was created.
-ism
This work of art represents Humanism because of the human beliefs and human nature within the painting. For example, Jesus is a holy icon for Christianity and that depicts humans beliefs.
