Make Plans to Attend Upcoming Title 1 APTT Night(s)

At Evansdale, we believe that parent-teacher relationships are essential for student academic support. For that reason, we strongly encourage all parents to attend your student's APTT (Academic Parent-Teacher Team) Night. Parents of Kindergarteners - 2nd Graders will meet on Tuesday, February 21st, at 5:30 p.m. Parents of 3rd-5th graders will meet on Thursday, February 23rd, at 5:30 p.m. Childcare will be provided both nights.

What Parents Can Expect on APTT Night?

  • The Opportunity To Participate in Warm Up Activities
  • To Receive Your Student's MAP Growth Report
  • To Receive Information on Student Support at Home
  • To Receive a Selection of a Few IXL Math and ELA Skills to Work on at Home
  • An Introduction to Student/Parent Study Guides (3rd-5th grades only)

We look forward to seeing you on one or both APTT Nights. Our goal is to have 100% of Eagle Parents attend on your scheduled APTT Night. As always, we are excited about our partnership and know as it continues to grow, so will your student's academic success.

Sincerely,

Luci Chattman

Principal

Valentines Day at Evansdale

While we love to acknowledge holidays at Evansdale, it is most important to maximize instructional time for our students. Because of this, there will be no parties or opportunities for parents to visit classrooms on February 14th (Valentine's Day). If a teacher would like to offer a small treat for students during their lunch period, he/she will coordinate that with the room parent(s). If your students' class is exchanging valentines, his/her teacher will send home a class list so everyone in the class receives a valentine. If you have any questions, please contact your child's room parent(s) directly. Thank you for your understanding and encouragement to help our Eagles soar academically!

Most "IXL"ellent Honor Roll

Congratulations to the following classes that lead the grade level in IXL practice. Our math practice winners are Ms. Minnitee, Ms. Trapanesse, Ms. Stratford, Ms. Carnathan, Ms. Anderson, and Mr. Murphy. Our ELA practice winners are Ms. Nelson, Ms. Trapanese, Ms. Bradley, Ms. Perry, Ms. Thomas, and Mr. Murphy.

We will post new winners every other week! Encourage your students to check the IXL bulletin board to see the Honor Roll students in each grade level. Congratulations to all winners! Keep practicing.
