Description/Abstract: With the advent of electronic resources, 1:1 hardware initiatives, and read-write web technologies, it can be easy for school librarians to neglect the physical materials they have in-house. And while ideal collections used to focus on breadth, now access and usage drive our decision-making. To that end, this workshop will focus on topics to include collection analysis, weeding and deaccession of print and audiovisual materials, cataloging and classification to maximize access, and resources for book repair.
* IF NOT ATTENDING, PLEASE UNENROLL TO MAKE ROOM FOR THOSE ON WAITING LIST*

Objectives: To re-examine library catalogs and collections in consideration of emerging trends in education and technology and provide school librarians with tools to connect teachers and learners with a range of materials.
