A little bit about the artists...
Andy Warhol was a famous and legendary pop artists. He was born in 1928, and his parents were both Slovakian immigrants. He got a degree in 'Bachelor of Fine Arts' in 1949, and moved to New York to try and get a successful job as an artist. He is most famously known for his picture 'Marilyn'. 'Marilyn' will be on show, as will several more of his works.
Roy Lichtenstein did most of his famous work in 1960s America. he is most well known for his enlarged paintings mimicing the style of children's comic books.
