Health and Safety Information

Wylie ISD highly recommends and encourages students and staff who are close contacts due to an in-home exposure complete a stay-at-home period of 10 days. Collin County Health and TEA recommend that an individual can return to campus/work following 10 days if no symptoms have occurred. Individuals who have been vaccinated or have had a positive COVID-19 test within 90 days are not considered close contacts, even if they have been exposed to a positive individual.

Mentors and other non-family visitors can be a vital part of building relationships with our kiddos. With the recent surge from the Delta variant, we are postponing all non-family visitors to campuses. This is only temporary and will be reinstated as soon as possible.

Please Use the Crosswalk

Please remember that, when arriving to school and leaving school, we need you to please use the crosswalk. Some students and parents have been crossing the street near the marquee, and this is creating a safety hazard. We appreciate your help and cooperation as we work to keep all members of our Davis family safe.

Did You Know?

Did you know that Davis Intermediate is a campus which works to use restorative practices to help and support students? Throughout the first days of school, our teachers and students worked to create Treatment Agreements in their classes. These agreements help to ensure that all students are heard and that we are developing a healthy climate and culture in our school. An example of a Treatment Agreement can be found below. We look forward to watching the ways that our students, teachers, and staff will benefit from these practices.
