CFIE Mission:
BOOSTERTHON IS STARTING NEXT WEEK!! If students register before KICK-OFF on 9/27, they get placed in a drawing for a free yearbook - K-2 and 3-5 winner!
The BOOK FAIR is HERE!
Shopping at the CFIE BOOK FAIR starts Monday, September 26th! Don't forget to set up your student's eWallet account for cashless, stress-less shopping!
Friends and family can even contribute funds! Set one up now here:https://www.scholastic.com/bf/cfes
We will have Open Shopping for students and staff from 7:40 - 8:45 am
Students will also be able to shop during times they have arranged with Mrs. Reinke.
Also, parents can shop with their child during our Open House on Tuesday, 9/27/22, from 5-7!
FEDERAL IMPACT AID CARDS - COMING HOME MONDAY, 9/26 - PLEASE COMPLETE & RETURN 9/27!
PLEASE COMPLETE IN PENCIL.
If you have never completed these cards before - no worries! We are here to help!
We have completed #1-5 - please review to make sure information is accurate.
Parents (by federal law) must complete the remainder of the survey. If there is an error on the survey beyond #5, we will be sending card back home/call parent to come to school to correct. The directions for completing the card are on the back of the card.
The biggest errors we have experienced in the past are:
#7 - DO NOT MARK ANYTHING HERE unless you actually live in a house on base.
#9 - the date by the parent's signature - the date must be 9/26/22 or later.
Completing Sections -
If completing Section A for active duty, the Rank box must be completed to be counted
You will complete only one of the sections - A, B OR C -
- Even if parents together cover A & B, only complete A with that one parent.
- Even if both parents are active duty, only complete with one parent's information.
- If you are not federally connected at all, you will check C.
- If you work on base in another capacity and do not have a spouse who is active duty, then you would complete Section B.
If you are retired from Active Duty, and do not currently work on base, you will need to complete section C only, NOT section A.
Activated Reserves - complete Section A, however, a copy of the Presidential orders must accompany the survey.
If your child is not at school on Monday, they will receive it when they return. Only students who are enrolled as of 9/26/22 will receive this card.
We want to THANK YOU in advance for your quick turnaround time in completing this correctly and returning to our school! We will have incentives for classrooms who receive all cards back with 100% correct!!
