Hello, November!
Titan Families,
Many thanks to our PTA for hosting a fantastic Fall Festival on Friday, October 27th! Events like that are not possible without funding, sponsorship, and the support of volunteers, so if you were a part of that in any way, thank you! It was great to see our families come together, dress out, and have some fun after hours. Our Student Leadership Team (SLT) held a canned food drive leading up to the event, too. I am happy to report that we exceeded our campus goal of 500 cans! I am incredibly proud of our 5th grade leaders who came up with, planned, and organized this for our local food pantry with Ms. Salzillo and Ms. Zepeda's support.
Last week, district leaders came to our campus to hear about our campus improvement plan (CIP) and learn about the ways #RPEinnovates this year. Every campus in Leander ISD submits a CIP and has a school improvement visit in the fall and spring to keep us accountable to goals and know how to support at the district level any initiatives. They were impressed with our progress in student engagement and our inclusion model. It was an honor to showcase our staff and students while they were on campus. Check out the pictures below.
We had a lot of other campus happenings like buddy classes connecting and our Kindergarten Nursery Rhyme Parade. We have amazing things happening on and off our campus, families! Thank you for your continued support of our Titan staff. It takes a village, and we are truly better because of you.
Please continue to read on and calendar times for your family to engage. Should you need anything, please feel free to reach out to our front office team at 512-570-6900.
Take care and be well,
Dr. Amy Sharp
Proud RPE Principal
