Join Us for Student Led Conferences
Student Led Conferences are this Thursday, Feb. 15 from 12:00-8:00 P.M. This is a great time for you and your child to reflect on their progress so far this year, discuss progress with your child's teachers, and connect with the school community.
If you are unsure of your scheduled time, please check with your child's Bobcat Den teacher.
Please remember that students do not attend school on Feb. 15 or 16, 2018.
Click the link below to learn more about Student Led Conferences.
We look forward to seeing you!
Your Voice Matters!
The first method will be during your conference with your child. Their portfolio will contain a gold quarter sheet of paper with five blue dot stickers. You will use the dots to vote on the five values and attitudes you feel Buffett students should mostly exemplify. Each team area will have a large poster for you to cast your votes.
The second method is through an online survey produced and facilitated by Omaha Public Schools. Use the link below to provide your feedback on six categories. You are able to choose the categories you would like to weigh in on or provide your feedback on all six.
- Climate/Culture
- Support Staff/Services
- Communication
- Safety & Discipline
- Instruction
- Principal & Administration

Meet Buffett's Friendly Neighborhood K-9
Please welcome Officer Nathan Dickey and Remi, OPS' first drug-detection K-9! Remi is a two-year-old female black lab. In her first year in OPS, Officer Dickey and she are focusing on school walk-throughs, school demonstrations, and student presentations.
