Small Mall Donations Needed

Students have been earning attendance bucks at LA since mid-November. On December 21, students will be able to cash in those bucks and purchase items at our small mall. They may choose to buy for themselves or others! The items offered in the mall are new and encompass a variety of interests (appeal to not only teens, but possibly younger siblings, parents, or grandparents). If you have any items you would like to donate (items you ended up not using, those things in the re-gift box, or simply an item they might like (gift cards are easy), please drop them off in our office by Monday, December 19th.

Join us on December 15th

Please join us on Thursday, December 15th from 1:30-2:30 for the 2nd phase of our 2016-2017 UnSchool Challenge design showcase. Our kids have been partnering with 7 different companies and organizations around the Kansas City area to do some great work. Please swing by, say hi, and come talk to the kids about their projects and process. Coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies will be served.

Do you have some items to donate?

The following items are needed for some upcoming activities. Please drop off items in the LA office by Tuesday, December 20th: gingerbread house and/or icing/toppings to decorate houses/sugar cookies, clean/empty plastic milk jugs (need 20), large safety pins (need 160), and old jeans (need 40).
