Advice for father
In the second trimester if your job doesn't pay enough for mom, baby, and you. Find a new job that pays more, as soon as possible. Also keep taking her out, make sure she knows that you care for her and the baby. Also keep rubbing her back. Start to look for baby supplies the baby will need. Like a crib, stroller, diapers, wipes, clothes, etc.
In the third trimester keep taking her out places, because once that baby comes, it's all about the baby. Buy the baby supplies, get a hospital bed ready, because you never know when the baby will come.
