We Engage We Educate We Inspire
Hello Stallions!
On Friday The Ranch was visited by hundreds of special people. Grandparents Day was a tremendous success. It was great fun for the students to show off their school. This is a wonderful tradition and helps make Sonoma Ranch Elementary a special place. Everyone seemed to enjoy the event. If you have any thoughts you’d like to share with us about Grandparents Day, please click here: https://goo.gl/forms/tJvS3sQnsS5POYQg2. Thank you to PTSO for providing the milk and doughnuts and our parent volunteers in the library for the Book Fair!
Friday was also our first Stampede of the school year! It was so much fun. We yelled our motto, We are Stallion Strong and our mission statement We Engage We Educate We Inspire and show our school spirit. We recognize three students from each grade level for being Safe, Respectful, and Engaged. We gave away gift cards to Barnes and Noble and one terrific student went home with a new bike! The Stampedes are fun for students and faculty/staff alike!
Check out our new water bottle filling station! With funds raised from our Fun Run last year, our PTSO purchased two water bottle filling stations for Sonoma Ranch. One has been installed and the second one goes in next week! Fresh cold filtered water for our students and staff! Thank you Sonoma Ranch PTSO!
At the bottom of the Round-Up is a link to participate in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program. This is a government program that helps to provide free or reduced-price lunches to our students. It is a tremendous support to our students and their families. I encourage you to click the link to see if you might be eligible. Families already receiving support need to reapply now if you have not already done so. If you should have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call us.
