Principal's Message
As we come upon Thanksgiving next week, it's a time to focus on all people, things, feelings for which we are grateful.
Personally, I am grateful for my family. My three sons make me laugh every single day... of course they make me crazy sometimes too, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Personally and Professionally, I am grateful for the Lakewood Creek community. Our HSO, parents, and families go above and beyond to support and celebrate our school. LC has become a home for me, and I'm so appreciative of that continued support of our staff and students. Having a solid partnership allows us all to be more effective, efficient, and happy!
I'm also incredibly thankful to our staff. They have worked harder this year than any other (including last year). They do it with smiles and an energy that comes from deep down. When presented with 'yet another thing,' they embrace the challenge and find ways to get it done.
Lastly, I want to thank our students. They are why we are here. They make this job fun, challenging, exciting, and different every day. They are a wonderful group who keep us on our toes; reminding us not to take life too seriously. They teach us just as much as we teach them.
I hope this short break gives you time to reflect and recharge while celebrating all that makes you feel thankful.

Breakfast Drop Off
Please, if you are NOT dropping off for breakfast, stop your car at the sign shown below. That way, there is space for cars to get through for breakfast drop off only. Then, at 8:45, the whole line can pull forward for school drop off.
School-Wide Second Step Focus
All grade levels will work on the following:
- Nurturing Gratitude from the inside out
- Random Acts of Kindness
- Define gratitude/grateful
- What/Who am I grateful for?
- What emotions are associated with gratitude?
- Acts of Kindness are often returned with kindness.
