Happy Pi Day (a little late)
Next week we officially head into MCAS season. We work very hard to find that balance of having students do their best on the test while not getting over stressed. We are able to have all students take the test at the same time which reduces our total testing days to six - leaving us more time for learning! Next Tuesday, we will be doing the infrastructure trial where we test the system. It gives students the opportunity to re-familiarize themselves with the online system while we test to make sure all the tech stuff works. It usually takes about an hour to minimize disruption.
I am looking forward to some warmer weather and getting our students back outside during lunchtime - fingers crossed!

Washington DC Updates
Within the next few weeks the grade 8 teachers will pass out rooming forms for students to select their roommates. If you think your child will need help with this process please reach out to their homeroom teacher, Ms. McCaffrey (guidance), or myself. We are happy to help make sure everyone ends up where they are comfortable.
On Thursday, March 28th we will have a mandatory parent meeting from 6:30-7:30. We will go over packing, fill out forms, and departure details. Students are welcome to attend this meeting as well.
Within the next couple of weeks we will also send out an online order form for DC T-shirts. We ask that all students purchase one for the trip. You can purchase one as well Mom and Dad - it's super cool!
Please note that final payments are due March 15th please contact EF directly if you have questions. If you have been assessed any overdue balances please call EF, most of these charges can be waived. If you are on a payment plan EF will complete your payments on that schedule.
