Important Student Pick-up Information
Parents and families, please keep in mind that the U (Gate 3), at Condor Elementary School is only to be used by parents who are picking students up in their vehicles. Parents who wish to walk up to the school to pick up their students must use Gate 2 with the exception of kindergarten students.
Attendance Matters!
Positive attendance is essential to student achievement.
If your child must be absent from school, please contact the office at (760) 367-0750 ext 1 and let us know.
Chances are your child will need to miss a few days of school this year. While some absences might seem more excusable, the impact is actually the same whether your child is sick, ditching or taking a family trip. Any absence makes it harder for your child to keep up with the everyday classroom learning that is needed to grow and succeed. Some absences are unavoidable; but too many will make your child fall behind and they might not be able to catch up. Save absences for when it is absolutely necessary and make sure they are in school every day. Learning in elementary school is sequential – each day builds on earlier learning.

The Great Kindness Challenge
The week of January 23-27, 2023 is The Great Kindness Challenge® (GKC). The GKC is a global campaign that promotes kindness, social-emotional health, and bullying prevention in pre-kindergarten through grade twelve. During this powerful, unifying, and uplifting week, students are challenged to complete as many acts of kindness as possible using customizable checklists. The GKC gives every student an opportunity to model kindness and develop key social-emotional skills that are vital for school, work, and life success.
