Pennsyltucky Brown Bake



This is a delicious recipe using crescent rolls and deli meat to create a warm, layered bake. It reheats well and is just as good the second time around. Our family loves this recipe, which yields plenty for left overs.


6 beaten eggs

4 cups thinly sliced tomatoes

1 lb. crumbled bacon

1 lb. thinly sliced turkey

1/2 lb. thinly sliced ham

1 lb. swiss cheese

2 packages crescent rolls


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Line a large baking dish with 1 pack of crescent rolls .

Top layer of crescent rolls with a thin layer of turkey.

Top turkey layer with a thin layer of ham.

Top ham with crumbled bacon.

Top ham layer with Swiss cheese.

Top Swiss cheese with a layer of thinly sliced tomatoes.

Pour 3 beaten eggs on layers.

Repeat the layers and pour remaining beaten eggs over the top.

Layer the remaining package of crescent rolls on the top.

Bake covered at 350 for 20 minutes

Remove cover and cook an additional 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
