Hello Arts Middle Families,
Monday and Tuesday we will follow the SBAC schedule to allow for more time and make-ups.

Wednesday, June 2 - ½ day - 12:00 dismissal
Friday, June 18th - ½ day - 12:00 dismissal - Last day
Field Day - Wednesday, June 2nd
Students who are working remote will be able to be dropped off at Dillon Stadium and participate. We will be sending more information soon.
If your child is a remote learner and would like to participate in Field Day, please click on the link below to let us know.
The deadline for signing up for Field Day is Friday, May 21st.

Notes from the Nurse
For the 6th grade students entering 7th grade next school year
As per the Connecticut State Law (C.G.S. Sec. 10-204a and 10-206), all children must provide the school with proof of the following requirements in order to attend 7th grade at the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
• A complete physical exam by a health provider done on or after July 1st, 2020.
• An updated immunization record which includes these vaccines: a 2nd dose of MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), a 2nd dose of varicella (chickenpox) or verification of disease from a health care provider, Tdap booster, and meningococcal.

All Families
If your child has received medications in school this year, please make arrangements with me to pick up any remaining medication before the end of the school year. I will not be able to send home any medications with the students. Any medications that remain in the office after the last day of school will be destroyed.

Trained professionals are ready to listen to and speak with those in need about concerns and potentially connect individuals with responsive services.
