On October 15th & 16th, the SGP Theatre Department is presenting our fall production called "A Tree with Arms". It is a comedy drama about kids from different tree houses going to war with each other. General Admission is $10 but students and staff can get tickets for only $5 with you I.D.s.

Congratulations to Principal Larry Jones on being accepted to Texas Tech graduate school for Educational Leadership Doctoral program beginning Spring 2022.

Congratulations to our October Boy & Girl of the month Jacqueline Carrasquillo and Dylan Pham
Jacqueline is a member of the Cheyanne dance team, the Historian for DECA, an office aide, student council member, and part of the Warriors for Christ group. Outside of school, she is part of the Girl Scouts of America, a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, a teacher’s aid, and in the silver heart club. She is also a National All American Miss Grand Prairie, named top model for Ivette by Mizy Boutique, and a Barbizon promotional model. After graduation, she plans to attend an in-state university to study marketing and business administration.
Dylan is in the National Honor Society, President of the SGP ECHS Beta Club, the Secretary for National Art Honor Society, President and a member of the SGP Orchestra. Outside of school, he enjoys trying different types of food, watching anime, working out, and drawing. He participates in Adopt a Street of Grand Prairie through the SGP Beta Club. After graduation, Dylan plans to double major at UT Austin in Biology and Business.
School Day of Testing
On Tuesday, October 26th SGP will be administering the PSAT 8/9 and the PSAT/NMSQT to sophomores and select freshman and juniors. We will also be administering the ASVAB CEP and CPR Training to all seniors. Below are links for each of the testing sites where you can find study materials and additional information about each exam.

We are excited to roll out another form of communication as we get this year started. I want to make sure you always know what is going on at SGP. Our students are second to none and we have already hit the ground running. We have an amazing staff and we are looking forward to a very productive and fun year.
