Divisibility Rules for 2,3,4,5,6,9,10
Divisibility Rule for 2
The last digit is even (0,2,4,6,8) Example is 0,12,24,36,48.
Divisibility Rules for 3
The sum of the digits is divisible by 3. example is 381 (3+8+1=12 and 3x4=12)
Divisibility rule for 4
The divisibility rule for 4 is if the last 2 digits of a number is even. example is 1312 is (12รท4=3)
Divisibility Rules for 5
The last digit is 0 or 5. example is 345 and 650
Divisibility Rules for 6
The number is divisible by both 2 and 3. example is 114 is even so it is 2, (1+1+4=6) and 6 is a multiple of 3.
Divisibility Rules for 9
If the sum of the digits is 9 or a multiple of 9 then 9 is divisible. example is 558 (5+5+8=18)
Divisibility Rules for 10
If the last digit is 0 then 10 is divisible
Examples
12 is divisible by 2,3,4,6.
165 is divisible by 3,5.
16 is 2,4.
