Tuesday, December 10: Give respect by LISTENING!
Wednesday, December 11: Give a WILDCAT WAVE!

Counselor Corner - Mrs. Rouse
The Zones of Regulation is a curriculum designed to foster self-regulation and emotional control. The goal of teaching Zones school-wide is to support a culture where students feel safe to share their feelings and learn how to problem-solve through them. Having a toolbox of healthy coping strategies will be valuable for the rest of their lives.
This week, all students will practice ways to self-regulate in order to help get back into the "green zone". As Zones becomes a regular language at Brent for students and staff, we encourage parents to also use the language at home.
Brent is still looking for volunteers to help run the Brent Buck store for first grade on Fridays from 1-2:30pm. Please let me know if you are interested. As always, feel free to reach out to me at any time and my door is always open.
