Check E-mails
1) Before School
2) During Plan
3) Prior to Leaving for the Day
Also, be aware that everything doesn't need to go to the HPHS Group. Please think prior to sending an e-mail to all, as this causes numerous e-mails and responses for people to have to sort through.
Block Schedule This Week
We've explained the importance of spending time with each grade level as administrators and are giving teachers of Scot Times a bit of a break during those times depending on which students you have for Scot Time. We do not expect teachers to stay with students while we are communicating with them. Please use this time wisely as it is still paid time for teachers.
Additionally, when you do have students during Scot Time and they are not with administrators, you will need to plan 90 minutes of engaging time. Teachers who have Seniors will be called down by class to the small gym for school photos in their graduation gowns on Friday. You will have to have activities for the time your students are not taking photos, as we will not have all the students for the entire time on Friday. I hope that helps.
Lastly, we have other things on the calendar where we will need an altered schedule, so please be flexible but we will also be asking for feedback and providing it, as well. That's the way we get better!
Follow HP on FB
If you haven't noticed, our FB Page is being updated regularly. I hope that you would Like and Follow us and share with your family and friends, as well. This is a great way to spread the GOOD NEWS!
If you are doing something you really want us to see, please invite one or all of us to attend. We'd love to document the lesson on FB. You can also take photos and send them to either Juli or Shana.
