FFES Summer Send-Off
Have a GREAT SUMMER!!!!
Cheers to Summer
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You have successfully completed the 2019-2020 school year! This is a huge accomplishment. We are so incredibly proud of all the hard work that each of you has put forth this academic year! You should be proud of yourself too! While the year did not end in the traditional way, you all adjusted fabulously to the change and you showed your resilience! The staff at Fitzgerald missed having our traditional year end celebrations and sending you off in-person for summer vacation. Please know that we hope you have a wonderful SUMMER! Continue to be the curious, inquisitive, energetic, learners that you are during the summer. Read lots of books. Complete science experiments. Play outside. Solve math problems. Write stories. HAVE FUN! We can't wait to see you in August! Enjoy your summer break! We miss and love you all!
Congratulations 5th Graders!!!
Congratulations to our amazing 5th graders on your promotion to Middle School! You have grown so much throughout your years in Elementary School. As a class you have demonstrated leadership, set an example of being scholars, and been an example for our younger students. We are very proud of all you have accomplished and know that you will go on to be phenomenal in middle school! Best of luck to all of you next year! We will miss you and hope that you come back to visit. Have a WONDERFUL Summer! As Dr. Seuss said, "You're off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, So.... get on your way!"

Summer Activities
Summer is right around the corner and many of you (parents and kids alike) may be wondering what you are going to do to fill the days due to the current pandemic. It's important for kids to have a schedule (just like when they are in school) during the carefree summer months. Below you will see a sample daily schedule, a list of resources for kids that do NOT involve technology/screens, and other ideas and activities that will help keep everyone busy during the summer. As always, we encourage kids to read on a daily basis, practice math facts, continue working on their writing skills, to be scientists, and get daily physical activity.
