High School, get ready to BYOC!
Starting this school year, our high school is switching to a BYOC (Bring Your Own Chromebook) model for classroom technology. We are excited about this switch for several reasons:
- More independence and responsibility for High School students as they take care of their own devices
- Greater flexibility and customization for students (many students already owned Chromebooks and preferred to use their own last year)
- Repairs/replacements no longer require the lengthy process of school-managed warranty claims
Students who do not already own a Chromebook should purchase one by August 4. (This model from ASUS is an affordable option at less than $140.) On August 4, at Back-To-School Night, all high school students should bring their Chromebook to the school for WiFi registration.
If you would like to purchase a used ($100) or new ($200) Chromebook from Crossover Prep, please contact Dr. Lepine at john.lepine@crossoverprep.org. First come, first serve.
