CCE Scurry Update
The CCE Scurry was last week and it was a HUGE SUCCESS! Thank you so much to the students, parents, friends, and everyone who donated. We raised $36,757 surpassing our goal of $30k! These funds will support CCE, such as paying for some staffing needs, various technology items, and in various other ways throughout the year.
Winning grade (and donut party): 2nd!
Winning individual class (and pizza party): Ms. Engler!
Special thanks to PTO Vice President and Scurry Chairperson Stephen Holcomb for coordinating this fantastic event!
CCE's Pumpkin Patch
At the school's front entrance you'll see some wonderful fall decorations. Soon you'll see that area filled with pumpkins! If you'd like to bring in a pumpkin to add to the patch feel free to bring one in; you can decorate it with markers or paint (or just leave it plain), but please don't carve it. We can't wait to see your creativity!

Holiday Baskets
Attention Community Members:
While the holiday season is meant to be a joyful time, for many it can also be a time of great financial worry.
I am reaching out to you today in an effort to provide families with relief.
Registration is now open for Integrated Family Community Services
2019 Holiday Program.
Sponsored families receive the makings for a traditional Thanksgiving meal, winter holiday meal, and individualized gifts for a celebration.
I ask that you share our information about our program with families in need.
Last year IFCS created hunger-free holidays for over 880 individuals.
Your assistance is crucial if we are to reach every child who is experiencing food insecurity this holiday season. It is social workers, school counselors, and committed advocates in the community, like yourself, who have spread the word in previous years and successfully connected new families to our program.
Find program specifics on our website: www.ifcs.org.
