The Declaration of Rights was made by James Mason. It was made in June 1776. The purpose was to give the people in Virginia to have rights. The audience was the people of Virginia. The consequences for this document was that these rights are still happening that was the long term and the short term is that he inspired Thomas Jefferson for the Declaration of Independence and James Madison for the contrition.
