Toastronix Meeting Recap Sept13

What a great meeting! Again we had a full slate with three speakers! Guest Aubrey Paul served as Toastmaster and help a minute of silence to open the meeting for the 9/11 Tragedy.

First Cuong lead us off with Proj. 9 in the CC manual where he expanded on Long Term Disability. Cuong is now just one speech away from his Competent Communicator award! Next Sunil brought us a speech on a trip he recently too. He was inspired by Jonathan K. speech where he introduced us to his family and trip. Great slides when viewed in hyper-speed! Finally Hollis opened up his Humorous Speech manual and put a funny twist on Jury duty (he was recently in the panel of prospective jurors that were being selected for the Christina Morris Kidnapping Trial).

Goud led us in a very abbreviated table topics with a question for Jennifer.

The we quickly moved on to our evaluation portion of the meeting where Andra led in by calling her evaluators; Heidi, Daniel, and Sandra. Congrats to Sandra Seaman on giving her first evaluation!!!

Check in as often as you can!!!

DUES are DUE!!!

That's right people! If you want to remain a Toastmaster in the most amazing club in District 50, then it is time to get your dues paid! IF they are not paid by one of your officers by SEPT. 30 then you will not longer be a toastmaster. There is no longer a grace period for dues renewal.

Why should you renew? First off it is a very inexpensive Leadership & Communication skills shop compared to other workshops such as the Ziglar workshop ($5K - S15K), or a Steven Covey workshop ($2K), or a Tony Robbins burn your feet experience... And also those workshops are for a weekend or a week... Toastmasters is for 6 months!!! It works out to $7.50 a month! And if you are a Netscout employee you can expense this cost!

You just cannot get this experience, growth, and positive social engagement for this cost anywhere else.

Now for the push... TOASTRONIX can earn a ribbon if you all get your dues in by FRIDAY. There is also an opportunity to earn District bookstore bucks if we reach enough renewals!

So what do you do? Contact an OFFICER ASAP! Cuong and Andra are taking payments over the phone, right now!!! Please contact them TODAY so we can get that club award!
