Hamline Family Newsletter
December 4, 2019
A Note from Principal Reilly
It was wonderful to see so many of you at parent/teacher conferences. We learn just as much from you as you do from us about your child/children's strengths, learning and growth. It is always fun to see families fill our halls. This month we will be having other events in which we hope to see you at. On December 8th there will be a Hamline Barnes and Noble Bookfair from 11:00-2:00. This is a PTA sponsored event, which raises money for our school. If you have any gift shopping to do, every purchase has a percentage that goes to Hamline Elementary, so shop til you drop! On December 19th we will have an all-school assembly starting at 1:00. The children always love assemblies in which awards are given out, students perform, and we join together as a community. All are welcome!
I hope everyone has recovered from the snow storm and that this is not a sign of what is to come. Speaking of snowy days, please remember to send your children with snow pants, boots, hats and mittens, as they go out each day for recess. If your child needs some extra winter gear visit our Family Resource Room.
As always, thank you for sharing your children with us. You and your children are what make Hamline the special place it is!
