Safety Reminders for all Families...

Safety is our number one priority. To ensure the safety of all of our children, please remember...

  • drivers must pick up students in the valet line. Students will not be allowed to enter cars on Arborwood.
  • to cross at the crosswalks. Crossing midblock is unsafe and illegal.
  • to follow all traffic laws and posted signage. The city will ticket and/or tow any cars that are not doing so.

Thank you for your care and attention to our students!

Please join us for the first meeting of Bees, Tree, and Seas

Wednesday, Oct. 9th, 1:30-2:30pm

Canyon View - Science Room 2

We are very excited to kick-off Bees, Trees, & Seas at Canyon View Elementary!

Bees, Trees, & Seas is a new after school program designed to improve climate literacy within our school. The program was inspired by two first grade students at Canyon View Elementary. At the age of 6, these young students recognized what most adults fail to see. The immediate need to understand our impact on the environment, educate ourselves and others, and do everything within our power to enrich the environment and protect it for the future.

Meetings will be held 1-2 times per month. Students, Parents, and Teachers welcome! Meetings will include:

    • Open discussion pertaining to that month’s topic.
    • Monthly activity.
    • Planning/ preparation for future activities.

Canyon View PTA

Dear Canyon View Families,

You are amazing! Thank you for your generosity and support of the Canyon View PTA on our journey to excellence! We are proud to share that we have reached our Pledge Drive "Destination" and exceeded our Pledge Drive goal of $75,000.

Our families stepped up and pledged well over $2,500 on September 30th alone and, as promised, all PTA Community events this school year will be at no cost to our Canyon View families.

So, please save the date for our next PTA community event and be our guest at our Fall Carnival on November 15th! We will have inflatables, carnival games, and so much more. On behalf of the PTA, thank you for your continued support!

Final pledge drive participation levels and ice cream social details will

be announced early week. Stay tuned!
