HOLY ROSARY NEWSLETTER
Term 4 Week 4 - 3 November
FROM MARK:
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Mindfulness can be all the more powerful when we see it in light of the thoughts of people like Richard Rohr, and can guide us on our way.
All reports from the Hale Triathlon on Tuesday have been of exemplary children, including two of our students who set aside their competitive edge to help children from other schools who needed it. That was pretty special, together with some amazing results! And today 30 students in Years 5 & 6 are participating in the Interschool Triathlon at Champion Lakes! To Rob Flexman, Sylvia Ryan and Julie Catherall your hard work has been richly rewarded! Thank you for dedicating your time to helping our children thrive - awesome! Next week Rob will be putting in a detailed report of all the sporting events which have taken place over the last week.
We are now closing in on being half way through the term! Please keep an eye on the calendar. A lot is planned for the end of the term and we welcome your involvement in as much of it as you can manage!
And...... Holy Rosary's Facebook page now has 308 followers - Yahoo!
Have a good weekend

The Family Businesses of Holy Rosary
The Business Directory is a group of school businesses who want to support our School Community.
As a Parent Community we would love to see a culture of thinking Holy Rosary first! Please have a look through the directory to see what these businesses might be able to do for you. If you would like to be listed please contact Mark Nolan on mark@sensefs.com.au.
LIBRARY NEWS
As the end of the year speeds towards us, it would be wonderful if all overdue books, borrowed library bags and outstanding invoices are settled with the library. This ensures a smooth opening in 2018. I have a “Thea Stilton” book from another library with no further information, if anyone has accidentally returned it to HR, just let me know. Have a wonderful weekend.

“Libraries allow children to ask questions about the world and find the answers. And the wonderful thing is that once a child learns to use a library, the doors to learning are always open.” – Laura Bush
