October 2019- Note Worthy News
From the Principal's Desk:
During the month of September students and staff supported their favorite team by participating in "Sports Jersey Day." In addition we participated in the "Go Gold" campaign to support Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We sold over 460 cups of lemonade on the first day of sales. Looking forward to our next two sales, October 4 & 11. Thank you to all our families who participated in our Family Portraits on the Beach.
Please see the calendar of events below, October is a busy month! It includes school pictures, "Week of Respect," and so much more! Halloween information will be forthcoming. Save the date: Thursday, October 31st for our annual Halloween parade.
If you haven't scheduled your parent-teacher conference via the parent portal, please do so. Parent-teacher conferences will take place November 25 & 26. Our evening conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, and those spots fill up quickly!
Thank you again for all of your support. We are looking forward to working with you throughout the school year!

Two designated classroom parents will be allowed in the building to help with costumes and assist the teachers with parties. There will be no exceptions due to safety concerns.
Costumes, makeup or colored hair may not be worn to school in the morning. Children will have plenty of time to change into their costume prior to the parade. When choosing a costume for school, please consider your child's visibility and safety.
NO COSTUMES ARE TO BE WORN TO SCHOOL - THEY ARE TO BE BROUGHT IN A BAG LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME.
