Careportal - Resources for Families
ODE has contracted with CarePortal, a family care network group with many resources for families. This resource comes at no cost to any school. Schools must be actively working with families in need to qualify. Please see links below for more information on resources available, how it works in school, and how to sign up for training.
After you enroll, a local CarePortal expert will contact you to set up training and answer any questions you may have about using the platform. If you require additional help throughout the enrollment process, or still have questions, please contact the Ohio Area Director, at olyvia@careportal.org.
PBIS AND FAMILY ENGAGEMENT
PBIS is about fostering relationships. The Goal is to create an environment where students, staff, and families feel welcome, safe, and appreciated. Family Engagement can play a huge role in making PBIS practices in your school successful. Checkout the PBIS May newsletter below for more information.
