Of noble stature or greatness:
Alex Rodriguez was not born of a noble stature, he was born from Mexican decent. He was born July 27,1975 in New York and was raised in Florida. He over exceeded many people's expectations and had a remarkable talent in baseball, showing his potential ever since highschool.
Flaw:
During his career he has had many successes such as being a 14-time All-Star, winning three American League (AL) winning Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, ten Silver Slugger Awards, and two Gold Glove Awards. Throughout his 20-year career, Rodriguez had a .299 batting average, has hit 654 home runs, and has had 1,969 runs batted in (RBIs), and 2,939 hits. With his greatness he had an ample amount of stress on his shoulders so he turned to preformance enhancing drugs and tested positive in 2003, but admitting to it in 2009.
Flaw leads to ultimate downfall:
After admitting in 2009 for testing positive for taking illegal performance enhancing drugs A-rod let many fans down and accepted it by making the statement that "millions of fans out there ... won't ever look at me the same." He was never charged for taking the drugs because the test was in 2003.
Misfortune not completely deserved:
Alex Rodriguez lost many fans and was looked at in a different light because of his drug use. He made a statement saying "I did take a banned substance, and for that I'm very sorry. I'm deeply regretful. I'm sorry for that time, I'm sorry to my fans, I'm sorry to my fans in Texas. It wasn't until then that I ever thought about substances of any kind. Since then, I've proved to myself and to everyone that I don't need any of that." Showing his remorse for his previous actions.
Self discovery:
Even though Alex Rodriguez took illegal preformance enhancing drugs in 2003,he has not tested positive since. He even has a contact with the Yankees until 2017 making 252.87 million dollars every ten years.
The audience not left in a state of depression:
The audience was not left in a state of depression, though Rodriguez lost many fans, some stayed loyal to him and his team.
