Princeton Lakes HOA Newsletter
June 2018
Note from the President
Neighbors,
Summer is in full swing at Princeton Lakes! The pool has opened and is looking great, Stephen Patrick worked hard to get this entire project completed on time and on budget. Erin Searles and Christy Jones are excited to share their plans for refreshing our summer TGIF parties, information below. We would love to see old and new faces at the Board sponsored TGIF this Friday, June 1st!
I would also like to take the time to thank everyone who has volunteered in our community project days which included a little bit of everything, from painting the fences, tree trimming and clearing, putting out mulch to putting together picnic tables – not only does it improve the appearance of our neighborhood, it also has saved thousands of dollars! Thanks to Phil Laney for organizing our latest community service day!
Lastly, I would like to thank Carolyn Cooper for doing a fantastic job on improving our neighborhood communications and Jim Skinner for all that he has done for the neighborhood. Jim is very instrumental in everything that gets done in the neighborhood always the first to volunteer his time and making sure things run smoothly.
As always if you have any questions, comments or concerns please feel free to reach out to me.
Thanks,
Mark Paulsen

Friday, June 1st: The PLHOA Board will kick off the summer this Friday, June 1st from 6:30-9:30 p.m. with a cook out! We'll grill burgers and dogs and serve up some sides & dessert. This one is free of charge - just BYOB!
Friday, June 8th, 5:00-8:00 p.m.: Introducing Food Truck Fridays! This is a new take on "TGIF" where we'll bring a different Food Truck to the clubhouse each week. Most of the food trucks have a minimum charge requirement, so we're hoping for a big crowd to keep it going! The first Food Truck will be The Original Hot Dog Factory. It's more than just hot dogs ~ check out their menu here: www.theoriginalhotdogfactory.com
Friday, June 15th, 5:00-8:00 p.m.: Our next food truck will be C-Bo's BBQ & Southern Cuisine. This one has a hefty minimum charge, so bring some friends and spread the word to your neighbors to come enjoy great food and fun!
Friday, June 22nd, 5:00-8:00 p.m.: Taco Night! This one isn't a food truck, but Cabaki's Catering will set up a taco bar poolside! Get ready for a summer fiesta!
Wednesday, July 4th, 6:00-10:00 p.m.: Come out for the annual bike parade at 6:00 p.m., followed by a cook-out and our amazing firework show at dark!
Fridays in July: TBD based on Food Truck success
Sunday, July 29th, 3:00-4:00 p.m.: Rising Kindergarten Ice Cream Social at the pool! If you have a rising Kindergartner and want to help with this event, please shoot us a note at social@princetonlakes.net.
