12fth Night Viola

Viola's Identity

I think that the viola from the 12fth Night story by William Shakespeare would describe herself as being brave. She thinks that she is brave because she was willing to try as disguise herself as a man just to provide for herself. She also thinks that she is smart. She was smart enough to not reveal her identity to anybody until the end of the play.

Viola's Gender

Viola because of her gender in the story has to dress up as a boy to be able to do anything because of the tough times women had back in those days she had to do that in order to do things and take care of herself.

Perceptions of Viola

In the story people see viola see viola as a person of bravery and some may see her as a little weird. The ones that probably knew that it was her the whole time might not have thought that she was weird. The people that did not know might have thought she was a little weird at the time.
