JA BizTown - 6th Graders Only

In out 6th grade Social Studies classrooms, students will begin learning about career readiness. As a part of that lesson, our 6th grade students will visit and apply their learning at the Mike & Lynn Cottrell Junior Achievement Discovery Center. It is an experimental learning lab where the students will receive hands-on, real-world interactions with business management, personal finance, and life skills. It is mandatory that the following form be completed on or before September 27th.

After School Tutoring

After school tutoring will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting September 20th. Tutoring will start at 3:00 and end at 4:00 PM. All students participating in after school tutoring must have transportation home at 4:00:PM. Please let us know if your child is coming to tutoring by completing the sign-off below.

7Mindsets

Each Friday your students participate in a social emotional learning curriculum called 7 Mindsets. During the month of October students will focus on Passion First! Please take a moment to review the 7 Mindsets parent news letter for Passion First!

6th Grade Hearing and Vision Screeners

Hearing and vision screens will be conducted during homeroom/tutorial over the next couple of weeks. Parents will be informed only if a student needs further evaluation.
