Week Thirty-Five Recap
We are on the downward final slide! The school calendar is full and for many of our families and students, the days are long and are filled with an abundance of end of the year activities. The Crossroads Band Concert was held this week and was AMAZING!! If you were not able to attend but would still like to hear our students, please check out the video at this link: Crossroads Band Concert 5-16-23. The Crossroads Choir Concert will be held this week Tuesday at 7:30. We look forward to seeing many families in attendance. Have a great weekend!

Michigan Career Quest
8th Grade Students will be attending the Michigan Career Quest Program on Wednesday, May 24. Please click the following link for more information about the day: MI Career Quest
Students are asked to wear RED to school that day.

Northview School District is dedicated to your student’s well-being.
If you received a referral letter from the Kent County Health Department asking you to follow up on your student’s vision or hearing, please do so. Kent County Health Department does an initial screening to capture any students that may not have optimal vision or hearing. Optimal hearing and vision are necessary for your student to learn. Please follow up with your primary health care provider or specialist to ensure your student’s hearing or vision are optimal for learning.

Community Recycling Day Scheduled for June 3
Through the dedicated work of one of our staff members, Northview once again has established a day for recycling drop off. We will be collecting Styrofoam, plus many other difficult to recycle items, on Saturday, June 3 from 10am to 2pm at Crossroads Middle School.

2023 NVHS Sideline Cheer Tryouts

Moxie Moments
Dog Food Needed!
Moxie uses lots of energy every day and requires A LOT of food to keep her healthy! The NEF would like to help us out with a little incentive for those that help Crossroads out with her food supply.
If you drop off either of the following to the Main Office at Crossroads you will receive NEF Drink Koozies!

Grand Rapids Academic Summer Program (GRASP)
Grand Rapids Academic Summer Program (GRASP) is a summer math and reading correspondence program that helps students in K-8th grade retain skills learned during the school year by providing review exercises.

Delayed Start Wednesdays
End of School Year Information
The end of the school year is quickly approaching! Northview does not allow medication to stay at school over the summer, this includes all
emergency medication such as inhalers and Epi-pens.Please remember to pick up your child’s medication(s) on or before the last day of school. You can start now.
Medication pickup times are written below. If you need to make special
arrangements to pick up the medications outside of this time, please call Sarah Reames (616)361-3430 prior to the end of the school year to make these arrangements.
Where: Crossroads
When: 8:00 am to 8:30 am or 2:30pm-3:00pm Monday through Thursday.
Northview does not allow your child to bring the medication home. Many of these medications are expensive and we are required to dispose of any medication that is not picked up, so please plan to pick up your child’s medication as soon as possible.
All medications will be disposed of on June 9 th , if the medication is not picked up by this time. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
