Hannah's "Jolly" Path

My path starting from highschool to my future career.

"Personality Begins Where Comparison Ends" ------Karl Lagerfeld

I have an "orange" personality. I am fun loving and always live to see the good times. I really enjoy adventuring and exploring the situation and atmosphere I'm in. I love multi-tasking; it makes me feel productive. I am very creative and spontaneous. Throw a project at me and be sure that it will be done well, fast, and creatively!

Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself. --John Dewey

Freshman 2013-2014

I will become familiar with college entrance requirements. I'll use website addresses,, or mailing addresses to get information about all colleges I'm interested in. I'll Inventory my testtaking abilities and read materials on the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. I'll check the web sites for PSAT/SAT and for ACT for practice tests.

Sophomore 2014-2015

I'll check credits to make sure I'm on schedule for completing graduation requirements . I'll consult college web sites to make sure my courses meet college entrance requirements. I'll continue taking appropriate courses and research shows that full participation in academically challenging courses is the best preparation for college entrance.

Junior 2015-2016

My junior year grades are very important. I'll take as many academic courses as possible. I'll Register to take the PSAT and start thinking more seriously about what sort of college I would like to attend. I'll register for an SAT preparation class if available and review for the PSAT. I'll start to study the PSAT/NMSQT Student Bulletin and old tests. Then I'll take SAT or ACT and take Achievement Test(s).

Senior 2016-2017

First thing I will register for and take college admissions tests I haven’t already. Then I'll choose a minimum of three to five colleges to which I will apply. I will check deadlines for financial aid/scholarship grants. Many forms are due March 1.

Career

A career is wonderful, but you can't curl up with it on a cold night. -- Marilyn Monroe

Communication - the human connection - is the key to personal and career success. ---Paul J. Meyer

Physical Therapist

My number one career choice was a Physical Therapist. Physical therapists help people who have injuries or illnesses improve their movement and manage their pain. They are often an important part of rehabilitation and treatment of patients with chronic conditions or injuries. Physical therapists typically work in private offices and clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes. They spend much of their time on their feet, actively working with patients. Employment of physical therapists is expected to increase 39 percent from 2010 to 2020, much faster than the average for all occupations. Demand for physical therapy services will come, in large part, from the aging baby boomers, who are staying active later in life than previous generations did.

Tuscaloosa, Alabama

I wish to work in Tuscaloosa. The University of Alabama is in Tuscaloosa so it would be nice to stay settled in one town.
