Newton's 3 Laws of Motion
These Laws Apply to Any and Everything
Newton's 1st Law of Motion
Newtons first law is simple: an object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an outside force. This means if a car is not moving it is at rest and will not move until you hit the gas (the outside force) which will make the object move. Lets take that same car and use the other part of the law: an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. So this means the car (in motion) will stay in motion until you hit the breaks (outside force) causing it to cease motion

Newton's 2nd Law
Newton's second law is also very simple. The law is force = mass x acceleration. In other words lets say we have 2 rolling chairs. sitting in one is a 300 pound NFL lineman, and in the other is a 150 pound wrestler. You have to push them both across the room in the chairs (the chairs are the same.) you start with the wrestler and you push him across the room with how ever much force you need. now to push the lineman you need to use double the force needed to push the wrestler because the lineman is double to size of the wrestler. So basically the more mass an object has the more force is needed to move it.

Newton's 3rd Law
Newton's third and final law is for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. An example of this is a basketball thrown against a wall. The harder you throw the basketball at the wall the harder it will bounce back. If you apply little force then when it hits the wall it will bounce back with just as much force as you exerted.
