Hello! Happy Friday!
Even though the first semester just started it will be over before we know it. With that being said, please review the information below, lots of graduation tidbits and opportunities for high schoolers, plus an opportunity for fourth graders to participate in a music festival!

College Transcript Request
Many colleges will require that you have your mid-year transcript sent. Please make sure to check the application requirements and make the request for your mid-year transcript in Naviance.
Transcript Request Process
Below are the new transcript request procedures so you can have your high school transcript submitted to a college.
To request a transcript, you must first add your college application and then request a transcript be sent, please complete the following steps:
Use the below process if this is your first time adding an Transcript Request:
1. From Naviance Student, navigate to Colleges > Apply to College > Request Transcripts.
2. Click the Add (Pink Plus).
3. Select either College Application Transcript or Other Transcript.
4. Follow the steps depending on the transcript selection.
5. Once requested, transcript requests can be managed by counselors from Transcript Request Manager.
*Transcripts requests can also be requested when you perform the Colleges I’m Applying To process.
Register Now for PLSD's College and Career Symposium
Registration is now open for PLSD’s College and Career Symposium, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, at Lakeview Junior High School. The event is free for all PLSD students and families. Running from 9am-noon, the College and Career Symposium will feature:
* Recent Pickerington high school graduates
* Rick Szabrak, Director of Economic and Workforce Development for Fairfield County
* Dr. Jarrod Tudor, OU-L Dean of Campus and Community Relations
* College & university information booths
All Graduating Seniors
Central Students-Senior Diploma Form for Graduating Central Students:
All graduating Central seniors need to complete this form to confirm the proper spelling of their name AND to select the PHSC staff member who will present them their diploma at graduation. You must use your PLSD student account to login to complete the form and each student is limited to ONE submission.
North Students-Senior Diploma and Staff Selection Form for Graduating North Students:
All graduating North seniors need to complete this form to confirm the proper spelling of their name AND to select the PHSC staff member who will present them their diploma at graduation. You must use your PLSD student account to login to complete the form and each student is limited to ONE submission. Please disregard the submission by date. The form can still be filled out.
Financial Aid/Scholarships
October 1st was the opening day for Seniors to begin submitting their FAFSA. The Free Application For Student Aid, is the most important thing Seniors can do to get money for college. Seniors can also start searching for and completing scholarship applications. Here is a list of the scholarships our high schools have put together to help students locate scholarship opportunities. Applying is the only way to receive free money for college! Now is the time to start this process!
College Credit Plus Info Night Is Feb. 8
Pickerington Schools is hosting a College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Night in the PAC at Pickerington High School North on Wednesday, February 8th, at 6:30pm. The free event will share how participation in the CCP program can save thousands in college expenses. Attendance is not required for participation in the program. No registration is needed...just show up to learn all about CCP. Hope to see you on Feb. 8!

New and Upcoming Information
- Seniors - The last day of VLA classes is Friday, May 12. If your student plans to walk for graduation no extensions can be given.
- Juniors - The ACT for all juniors will be on Wednesday, March 8 in the morning. More details to follow. The information for the ACT Review Class is below.
