Note from the Principal's Desk

Dear Ocean View Families,

Please see ASD's announcement below regarding Ocean View's new principal for next school year. It has been my honor to be principal for the past 5 years and I look forward to new adventures with my family. Thank you for sharing your precious children with me.

~Sincerely, Dayna

Greetings, Ocean View Community. It's my pleasure to share with you, pending final School Board approval, that Ms. Christina VonWalter will be Ocean View Elementary School's principal. Ms. VonWalter comes to the principalship after working for the last two years as the Assistant Principal at Sand Lake Elementary. She also spent a portion of the first semester of 2021-2022 school year filling in as an administrator at Northern Lights ABC School due to an extended absence of Northern Lights ABC’s principal. Prior to the 2020-2021 school year, Ms. VonWalter was an instructional coach in ASD for multiple years. Ms. VonWalter has a wide range of classroom teaching experience and as an elementary-aged student even attended Ocean View Elementary School. Please join me in officially welcoming Ms. VonWalter as the new principal at Ocean View Elementary School. Go, Seals!
