Patriot's Pen
Week 11: November 4-8
A Message from Mireles
What an incredible week!
Thank you all for having the stamina and sense of humor to get through it! Let's recap: Halloween, Music tours, Patriot Games and oh yes-- let's throw in an entire campus technology deployment! You guys are simply the BEST! #RockStars
As we enter into the 5th week of this 2nd six weeks, please be mindful of grades entered, opportunities given to support kids and parent contact.
RTI (response to intervention), will be the topic of this weeks Faculty learning. Grade level counselors will facilitate these discussions and help with next steps. Please utilize this time to brainstorm best practice, support techniques and documentation. Often these meetings can be of tremendous help when teachers put their heads and hearts together for kids.

Hero
She works really hard to put kids first! She loves all her kiddos and continuously strives to help them. She plans lessons specific to each class's needs, meets with her co-teacher frequently, makes copies for the team, and volunteers her time to help the substitutes in 7th grade ELA, by fielding lots of questions to keep the substitutes and students on track. She is an amazing Co-teacher that is always there for students. Mrs. Calkins is the backbone of the 7th grade ELA PLC with a wealth of experiences and ideas. She is always willing to share anything she has created with the team for the betterment of all students.
Thank you for all you do for our Rawlinson Patriots, Mrs Calkins, and congratulations!
