JHS UNDERCLASS EXAM SCHEDULE ON MAY 24 AND MAY 25
The bell schedule for underclass exams on May 24 and 25 is listed below. Please know that any student with an “A” average may be exempt from their final exam for that class. Some AIR state tested courses are allowing students to choose whether or not they want to take their final exam to improve their grade. Please ask your child's teacher if you have a question about a specific exam policy. Also, please know that CCP courses may have to default to the college policy regarding exams which supersedes our school policy. The bell schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, May 24
Period 0, 6:50 - 7:35
Period 1, 7:40 - 8:30
Period 2, 8:35 - 9:25
Period 3, 9:30 - 10:20
Period 4, 10:25 - 11:15
Wednesday, May 25
Period 5, 7:40 - 8:30
Period 6, 8:35 - 9:25
Period 7, 9:30 - 10:20
Period 8, 10:25 - 11:15
- If a student has no exams on either or both days they are not expected to attend.
- Dress code is in effect for both exam days.
- NO FOOD will be served in the cafeteria on May 24th or May 25th
- Students will be bused in as normally scheduled in the morning on the 29th but we WILL NOT have a ZERO PERIOD bus run on the 30th.
- We will have 4 buses running to each quadrant of the district at the end of each exam day to take students home. Maps will be posted and staff will be available to direct students to the correct bus.
- Students may come late to school if they do not have an exam or exams to start the day.
- Once students are in the building they need to stay until they are finished with exams for that day.
- Students may leave once they have no exams left for that day. If they need to ride a bus they need to stay in the Commons until dismissal.
- If a student is late to an exam they do not get extra time.
- Students who are absent unexcused from exams will receive a “0”, so if your child is ill on an exam day please call the Attendance Office.
- Final Exams will not be allowed to be taken early.
Please also note that locker clean out for freshmen, sophomores and juniors is Monday, May 23 during their English class. Students should have their entire locker cleared out before they leave for the Summer.

NEW JHS ATHLETICS WEBSITE!!!
Following your favorite Jackson High School athletic teams just got a whole lot easier. The athletic department's new website JacksonPolarBears.org recently launched for fans, players, and parents to track how their teams are doing. The new site has schedules, pictures, videos and soon will have update rosters for spring sports.
Parents are able to sign up for alerts about their student-athletes' sports and receive timely news and updates from coaches.
Signing up for alerts is easy. Just click on "Sign Up for Alerts" in the upper right-hand area of the website and follow the on-screen prompts. You also can purchase tickets and pay athletic fees on the website at "Tickets" in the same area as alerts.
JACKSON LOCAL SCHOOLS BACKPACK FOOD PROGRAM
This program is intended for families whose children are eligible for free/reduced meals. However, we understand some families may not be eligible for the free/reduced meal program, but are still in need of food. To apply to be part of the Backpack Food Program, all you need to do is fill out the quick application form by clicking the link below: (one for each student).
