Our wonderful Texas weather can be so unpredictable! We have been watching it closely all week and will continue to monitor the chances of rain up until tomorrow morning. We were hoping so badly to have this event outdoors so our families and community could join us. If the weather decides to cooperate, we will have the concert in the parking lot next to the Wunderland and the portables tomorrow on Thursday, December 16th at 8:30 a.m. You can look at the map to see where the students and the audience will be sitting. Students will be spaced out and will have the option to wear their masks if your family perfers if we are able to hold it outdoors. Please bring a chair so you will be comfortable. If the weather doesn’t allow us to hold the concert outside, we will move the concert indoors and stream it live via Zoom. The Zoom link information is below if we are unable to be outdoors. If moved indoors, students will be spaced out through the cafeteria and gym and will follow all other COVID protocols currently in place. If moved indoors and you wish for your student not to participate in this gathering, please email reba_mussey@roundrockisd.org.

Students in 2nd - 5th grades are invited to participate. The Round Rock Learning Community Meet will be on Saturday, March 5th at Cactus Ranch Elementary. The deadline to sign- up for a UIL team is Sunday, January 9th!

All practice sessions will begin on their specific days starting the week of January 17th. Students will practice for 7 weeks to prepare them for our Round Rock Learning Community Meet.

The Waves of Pages Reading Program encourages students to read for pleasure by providing a chance to earn a FREE admission to your local Schlitterbahn Waterpark.

Schlitterbahn will award each student who reads for 10 hours (600 minutes) during the 10-week program with a FREE admission to the waterpark and a special discount offer for their family members.
