This district requires yearly teacher evaluations by a qualified and knowledgeable evaluator. The evaluation must include a:
self-evaluation, student/parent input, a peer observation, supervisor observation, evidence of personal growth, student achievement, and indicators of instructional improvement.

Inadequate Performance

Any teacher that has an inadequate performance is placed on probation. A teacher on probation has twice yearly evaluations. The evaluator will discuss the results with the educator and they will then write a plan which includes a specific measureable plan to improve, available resources that they will have (i.e professional developments they should attend), and a recommended course of action. Any teacher with three years of inadequate performance will be dismissed.
